HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DABBY!

Henry's one-year enlistment was to end in March 1942, but when news broke on December 7, 1941, he and our mother knew that his time in the Army would not end anytime soon and the way ahead would be risky. They expedited their plans to start a family and our oldest sister, Dabby, was born on November 21, 1942.
